Many people trust what their doctors have to say about their health, especially when it comes to them telling them something that will make them feel better and improve their over-all health.  We were astonished and saddened by a new supplement that is in the market “By prescription only” and “FDA Approved”, doctors are prescribing this as an option to help with people at risk for heart disease.  We recently evaluated one of our patients supplement regime that was give to help with her pain and inflammation.  She was prescribed “Loveza”(160.00 before insurance coverage).  This product is a pharmaceutical grade fish oil, meaning?  I really don’t know anymore?  We looked at the ingredients and there it was the one thing that we try to wean people off of, Partially Hydrogenated Oil=TRANS FATTY ACIDS=One of the culprits in heart disease look it up!  In our practice we use quality and pure products that produce results and achieve health not disease.  Pure and clean fish oil is great for many things for our health, key words being pure and clean!
