Anti-Aging - Part 2

In my last post we discussed what you are on the inside dictates how well your skin looks on the outside.  Eating clean is the key, prescribing to an anti-inflammatory based diet helps to keep the heat down in the digestive system.  This diet is based on eating many fruits and vegetables, lean clean meats and nuts, seeds and oils.  Oils keep your skin healthy, lubricated and nourished.  Did you read that last sentence right?  Good healthy fatty oils KEEP your Skin Healthy, Lubricated and Nourished?  (I can spot anyone who is deficient).  Fruits and vegetables provide the vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants that are needed to replace skin as it ages day after day.

Along with a diet rich in nutrients it is important to know that there are 5 supplements that are needed.

  1. CoQ10
  2. Evening Primrose/Borage oil
  3. Vitamin C (Not Ascorbic Acid, the whole molecule)
  4. Fish/ Flaxseed Oil
  5. NAC/Glutathione
